The whole house stinks of garlic and has for days. We were dehydrating it to use in various spice mixes. I just love the robust flavour we get from making our own.

We use the L’Equip dehydrator. It works great for our needs:

First we had to peel the skin off the cloves:

garlic

Then mince them:

minced

Put them in the dehydrator for about a day and a half:

Then it looks like this:

dried garlic

From there we turn it into flakes or powder:

 

 

The best thing is when we make our steak spice with it:
